Carey is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry having worked for top companies like Microsoft, Centurylink, and Kount.  Carey's mission is to educate the world about the most common types of fraud and what you can do to protect yourself.   

Unfortunately, online fraud is increasing in both frequency and financial impact, affecting countless individuals and businesses worldwide. Being a victim of fraud can be a devastating experience, not just financially but also emotionally. Fraudsters are using the latest technology, trends and taking advantage of technological innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), to impersonate legitimate organization, companies and government agencies. Fraudsters are also growing ever more adept at psychological manipulation and they are always finding new ways to cheat victims out of their money.
